This pattern is available for free.

This design was created specifically for our precious little peanut (due to arrive Sept 2014!) This design is what I created if we have a little boy.

It is knit flat until the decreases on the crown. I used knitpicks comfy fingering.

This pattern is worked with fingering weight (1) and a size 3 (3.25mm) straight and double pointed needles. You will also need a 3.25mm crochet hook for a provisional cast on. Instructions are for working flat until the crown decreases then the crown is worked in the round.

Stitches: knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 tog, psso, i-cord (explaination inc), provisional cast on (links for instructions inc), i cord bind off (links for instructions inc)

Sizes included:
newborn
0-3mth
3-6mths
6-12mths
