This is an advanced beginner crochet beanie pattern and an advanced beginner crochet cowl pattern written in US terms.

This listing comes with 2 patterns. One for the beanie and one for the cowl.

This hat will fit an average sized adult head. Would fit teens perfectly and make great gifts for fall-spring season.

We will use the 5.5 mm for the brim and the 6 mm for the body of the hat or the hook you got gauge with plus the size up. Example: 6 mm for the gauge means 6 mm for the brim and 6.5 for the body.

CH 3 counts as 1 DC and 1 CH.
CH 1 does not count as a ST.
