This pattern is inspired by Miriam L. Felton’s Assemblage Mitts.

This hat can be worn before blocking as a beanie or be blocked into a tam/beret style.

Although Rowan Felted Tweed DK has ‘DK’ in the name it tends to knit more like a sport weight yarn, but either weight should be acceptable.

Pattern includes instructions for smock stitch.

You will also need stitch markers & a tapestry/darning needle.
