is a fun project to improve your edging
skills with beautiful knit flower petals.
From ancient times, the Aster flower has
been considered an enchanted flower, and
used as a talisman of love and a symbol of
patience. What a great combination for a
cowl that improves ones knitting skills and
creates a romantic, cheerful accessory!

MATERIALS:
Yarn: Bijou Basin Ranch “Lhasa
Wilderness” 75% yak, 25% bamboo; 180
yards (165 m); 2 oz (56 grams); CYCA
size 2 fine; blush, 2 hanks

Needles: size US 6 (4 mm) straight and
16” circular.
Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Stitch marker

NOTES:
Four tiers are worked and then blocked.
Then stitches are picked up along the
edge of one of the tiers and worked in the
round for the cowl. The remaining tiers
are joined to the cowl by picking up a
stitch at the end of a row on the tier and
knitting it together with a stitch on the
needle.
