I can’t stay away from fish…. and after my last blanket (Astrid’s Zentangle) which was in only two colours, I had a growing itch to handle lots of colours again. I chose the simple drawings, without all the small line detail I usually add, which together with the bright basic colours against white gives it a special effect.

This blanket is made in interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique and a photo tutorial on both how to get started, as well as how to make the colour changes.

I used a lot of colours, the pattern includes a list of all the ones used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, I added a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
