I was originally inspired by this knit puddle jumper pattern, but wanted to use mostly knit-and-purl patterning rather than intarsia, so created my own pattern. Since I took the time to write out my charts, I thought I should share.

Use any gray yarn (solid colored will look more accurate than heathered) and knit to a tight gauge. The pdf contains charts and a few tips, but no detailed instructions. Just knit the pieces, sew together, stuff with filling, and enjoy!
