Welcome to my very first design and pattern!

Aylesbury is the first in a trilogy of small shawls and Glenlara & Druminchin will hopefully soon follow. It is a triangular shawlette that’s knit from the top down with a knit on border.
There is a centre spine and two identical triangles are on either side, bordered by 2 side stitches.

It is knit entirely in garter stitch and in chart & written form.

For the first part the shawl is patterned EVERY row.

My shawl weighs about 54g and took 340m of yarn. It’s 25” x 50” approx.

Aylesbury can easily be made to any size and with any yarn and is a great little stashbuster!

21st March 2010: Apologies to all who have downloaded the pattern where the charts were difficult to read. I have amended them now and want to thank you for your patience. Thanks again.
