Babies and Bears shows clearly how much my designs reflect Elizabeth Zimmermann’s influence. This one is no different. The sweater in knit in two pieces, each beginning at the cuff, ending at center back, then joined with Kitchener stitch. The “Bears” part of the design explains how you make knit the same design, but accommodate chubby teddy bear arms.

Because of the delicate designs at center front and back, I’d suggest not using variegated yarn, but of course it is “knitter’s choice.”
