The blanket is easy enough, it is made out of nine granny crochet squares. I used the basic solid granny square and builded up a simple pattern of front post double crochets which continues on the border.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet
fpdc = front post double crochet

Materials and notions:
Any DK yarn will do, I used Stylecraft special DK, You will need one ball of each of the following colours:
1820 Duck egg, 1068 Turquoise, 1722 Storm blue, 1202 Atlantis, 1823 Mustard and1822 Pistachio.
Hook G (4 mm)
Tapestry needle (for weaving ends and sewing)
