Baby Legs
This pattern makes a leg warmer that scrunches nicely around the baby’s shoe. If a shorter and non-scrunchy style is desired, I recommend cutting the length out during the stockinette portion of the leg warmer. These make a great arm warmer for older children and adults, as well!
Clarifications:
These are knit in the round. I used DPN’s, but you could use a circular needle if you like either using magic loop or with a 6 inch cable.
For picking up the cast on edge you may want to fold the edge down and pin it around to help. You are simply picking up the cast on stitches and knitting each one together with the current round. So, it would be like a K2tog (1 being the current stitch and one being a cast on stitch). You want to be careful to try and get the cast on stitch directly below so that it doesn’t cause a twist on the cuff.
