“The Baby Monkey socks were based on Cookie A’s Monkey socks… It more or less is the same pattern, just pretty much halved.

Forgive me when I’m writing this pattern, I’m assuming that you pretty much already know how to knit socks so this may not be the most obviously written pattern for a beginner… “
