I wanted to make a simple baby owl hat, that was cute and fun to make.

I chose the yarn specifically because it was a worsted machine washable yarn so it would be easier to clean for a Mom on the go.

NEW: I made a baby owl hat for a preemie. The yarn gauge was 20 st = 4 in. I cast on 64 stitches and followed the pattern as specified. It worked out well.
