I used size 20 thread and a 10 steel hook
and size 10 thread and a six hook and
size knit cro scheen vintage thread and a 10 hook use what ever size you are comfortable with or have on hand as I did the knit cro sheen ( usually I would have used a bigger hook I just kept my tension loose so it would work too)
