The beautiful lace yarn from Ullcentrum Öland inspired me to design this shawl. This wool company is situated on the Swedish island Öland in the Baltic Sea. So it was obvious to me to call this airy shawl Baltic Sea Breeze. The sheep whose wool is processed at Ullcentrum will definitely have had their share of the Baltic Sea breeze.

• Yarn: 100 g,sock yarn 4-ply or lace yarn 6/1 from Ullcentrum (or other lace yarn), or any yarn you like for an airy shawl.

• The pattern is written for two types of shawl shaping.

• The first version of this shawl is triangular in shape, for those who prefer it that way.

• The second version is closer to the V shape.

• Contains knitting charts and written pattern

• Adjustable to any size

• Easy to knit

Die tolle Lacewolle von Ullcentrum Öland inspirierte mich zu diesem Tuch. Diese Wollfirma ist auf der Insel schwedischen Öland in der Ostsee ansässig. Was lag da näher, dieses luftige Tuch Baltic Sea Breeze – Ostseebrise – zu nennen. Die Schafe, deren Wolle bei Ullcentrum verarbeitet wird, haben sicherlich reichlich von der Ostseebrise abbekommen.
