Bǎoshí means “precious stone” in Chinese, a fitting name for the diamond-like lace pattern. This shawl is worked from the bottom up and the lace edging is worked as you go, making it easily customizable to any size you prefer.

As always, there are written and charted directions, plus information on how to get the most out of one skein. The sample used 52g, so if you would like a shawl as large as the sample, please purchase an extra skein.
