Barbara's Spinners Simple Shawl
This pattern is
available for free.
Direct download of the PDF is here.
These two shawls can be knit from any yarn using any needle that gives you the fabric you like.
In it’s most basic form the shawl is either a neck down triangle or a center out 3/4 square knit in garter stitch.
The addition of as much or as little lace patterning as you are comfortable with makes it uniquely your own.
I originally wrote the recipe to encourage the new knitters & spinners that come to Tempe Yarn and Fiber to try lace and to use their handspun yarns.
