I really enjoyed designing this. I’ve always wondered if I could make a tabard that is more flattering and with more style than the knitted and crocheted tabards of the 1970’s.

The torso of it is worked in vertical rows of half-double crochet so it works up fast; a bonus is that the subtle self-striping of the yarn comes out looking the same for the plus-sizes as for the smaller sizes. (This is often not the case if the rows are worked horizontally.)
