I heavily modified the ‘Tiny Tailored Gartini’ pattern from Joan McGowan-Michael’s book ‘Knitting Lingerie Style’. I mixed in ideas from the ‘Hipsters’ pattern in Ashley Paige’s ‘Sexy Little Knits’. The result is a one piece panty (optional insert in crotch area) that hugs the hips with a 2 inch band. The panty covers more of the back side than the gartini, but just barely hints at being see-through, creating a modest-but-flirty look. ‘Panda Food’ refers to the bamboo in the bamboo/cotton/elastic yarn used to make the panty.
