Description-
Perfect for any little ‘basketcase’, this sweater vest is knitted up in aran yarn with a basket weave pattern to keep toddlers snug and warm.
The front and back of the vest are knitted separately and are worked from the bottom up on circular needles. After shaping the armholes the shoulders are then worked separately (second shoulder left on the circular needle while the first is being knitted). After the sides and shoulders are seamed, stitches are picked up along the sleeves and neckline and are knitted with a seed stitch border.
