This cushy rug can be knit with one strand of super-bulky yarn or three strands of heavy worsted, to make the colorway of your dreams. It knits very fast at 2.5 stitches/inch.

I have found out that a small version of this rug is also a fabulous lap robe! It’s extremely soft and very warm, but not too large.

Size: Sample is 19” x 32” (easily adapt to other sizes)

Supplies: Sample 1 was knit in Brown Sheep Burly Spun, 2 skeins of Main Color and 1 skein of Contrast, Size 13 US/9mm, 24inch or longer circular. (Sample 2 was knit from Cascade Magnum, Sample 3 was knit with four strands of Lamb’s Pride Worsted held together as one strand.)

Gauge: 2.5 stitches/inch in stockinette
