Bastille
Top down, seamless, warm—weather friendly – what’s not to love? This lightweight tee begins with smaller diamonds that grow into larger ones that are used throughout the lower yoke and body. Garter edges and the slightest of rolled hems finish things off.
The lace and cable stitchwork on this piece looks like a sort of decorative framework to me – one that might be on an iron gate enclosing a prisoner in a very fancy prison. We’ve all been in some sort of prison these last couple of years, it seems. And if you’re anything like me, you’ve been prettying up your space to make it feel less so.
