The Marrakech bag is an elegant bead crochet amulet bag with a drawstring closure. Embellished with bead loop fringe at the top and bottom, the body of the bag features a decorative mesh pattern lined with a thread only crocheted lining. The combination of layers results in an intriguing visual depth.

Pattern is worked from the bottom up in the round. The Marrakech Bag is available as a kit by itself or as part of the Romancing the Bag kit, which also includes the pattern for the Casablanca Bag with additional accessories and embellishments.

To make this project, you need to know how to chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch and increase these stitches. Instructions for all of these stitches are included in your kit instruction booklet and the Kit Supplement that also includes a rope primer.

The Kit Supplement includes diagrams for both left and right-handed crocheting. In both the Kit Supplement and Kit Instruction booklets, photo tutorials and diagrams are provided for clarity.
