This pattern is a cross between a lacy scarf and a small shawlette. It is knit from the bottom edge up and uses a combination of decreases in the lace pattern and short rows to create a curved shape that sits nicely across the shoulders or around the neck. Since the pattern is symmetrical, left-handers can follow the instructions and charts as though written for them.

This pattern can be knit with just about any worsted weight yarn, and will look best in fibers that block well. Other weights of yarn can be substituted.

The lace section of this pattern is only available as a chart.

Finished Measurements: 13” deep, 60” long
Techniques: knit, purl, knit/purl 2 together (k2tog/p2tog), slip slip knit (ssk), yarn over (yo), 3-into-1 symmetrical decrease (s2tog k1 psso), slipping edge stitches, chart reading, blocking

From now until December 31st, 2016, if you purchase this pattern together with the Bell Lace Stole, you can get them both for $6. If you already own the Stole, you will receive $2 off your purchase of this pattern. This discount will be applied in the shopping cart.
