Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “During a monthlong job hiatus last winter, I did nothing but knit for three weeks straight. I had acquired a hefty stash of yarn and had to come up with dozens of ways to use it. it wasn’t hard, until I came across a beautiful sweater pattern with a cable pattern running down the front. I didn’t have enough yarn for the sweater and had already spent my entire yarn budget for the year. But as I started knitting the cable pattern, just to try it out, I discovered that it was the perfect width for a belt. it’s a great cheap project and an easy introduction to cables.”
