Bentley is a vintage-inspired cardigan that invites a fresh pop of color. This cardi pairs beautifully with jeans and a crisp, collared shirt or over a vintage dress. Whether you choose a color to match your Fluevogs, or simply knit one you know you’ll wear with everything – Bentley is the cardi you want for in-between seasons. Choose a color you love and watch it dance behind the delicate wildflower knots. The back is solid stockinette, to give you the freedom to modify for shaping, if you need (or want) to.

NEW: Two Size/Yarn Weight Gauge Options!

Bentley was originally written as a fingering weight cardigan. However, by special request, a second DK weight gauge option has been added, which provides added versatility for yarn and size options. The pattern instructions reference needle sizes for the fingering weight option as the default, so if you choose the DK option, please refer to the needle and gauge references provided.

Yardage is enough for cropped length and ¾ sleeves. If longer length is desired, please plan to use more yarn than listed.

Sizes are listed throughout the pattern as 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). These sizes correspond to the fingering weight or DK weight sizes shown at right. (The instructions are the same – the only difference is your gauge and the finished measurement.) Depending on which gauge option you choose, your size will correspond with the sizes provided as follows.
