While watching season 3 of My Name is Earl, I noticed Billie was wearing a great hat in the episode where she hits Earl with her car. This is my attempt at recreating that hat. It’s a newsboy style cap with a shorter purled brim and 1x4 rib. It is a very quick project - even with all the do-overs, I had it done in one day.

I think a yarn with short color repeats would work best as it would avoid any striping or pooling. I think the Manos worked really well for this hat.
