I used to live in France for several years during the 90ties. I think those years made a great impact on me; living in another country with a different culture made me see things with fresh eyes. And best of all: my daughter is “made in France”! My french is far from perfect, but french words keep popping up in my mind.
Bisoux - kisses - is the word I chose for my new design. I find it a tiny bit french, too: elegant, simple, relaxed.
A pullover that can be worn with most things, and so simple that you could change it’s look adding your personal accesoires.

The knitting of the pullover is as simple as can be: worked in the round and bottom-up to armpits, where work is divided for back and front to be worked seperately. Shoulders are worked together using the tree-needle-bind off method. Stiches are picked up around armholes and sleeves are worked top-down and in the round. Finally stiches are picked up around the neckline to make the ribbed edging. No difficult stiches are involved: only k and p sts. No shaping and no seaming.

Sizes: You can choose from 6 different sizes. Finished bust measurements are 34/36/38/40/42/44”. Allow a little extra room for
comfort and a relaxed look. You can easily modify sizing either by change of gauge or adding/subtracting of stiches.

Material: I used the gourgeous Silkbloom Fino from BC garn to work the pullover. This is a very nice wool with a great drape. You could substitute it for another quality as long as you respect the gauge. You will be needing 6/7/7/7/8/8 balls to work the pullover. Choose a wool with great drape for best result!

The pattern: The pattern is easy to follow with measurements in both cm and inches, and with a chart for the pattern of the front.
