This pattern is designed for a 15-16” baby doll and uses a sock weight yarn. The pattern uses very little purl stitch and is made in the round from the underarm down. It is a good way to try a yoke sweater with increases made by the backward loop method of increase in the garter stitch.

You can use scraps of your sock yarn that just can’t be thrown away! Try making a short top to wear with pants if you like!
