Blindside is a simple reversible shawlette done in garter stitch and worked from side to side. The border is knit on as you go. You could substitute any yarn as the pattern is worked until you have used up half of your yarn and then the decreases start.

The pattern includes both the fingering weight version and the handspun version which was knit with a 2ply 13wpi yarn. The directions are both charted and written.
