Bliss Bomb is a simple summer singlet, which is knit from the bottom up starting with a rolled hem. It is knit in the round, and then divides at the underarms and is knitted flat for both front and back bodice panels. Eyelets are created at the top of the bodice panels and an cord, braid or ribbon is threaded through the eyelets to act as the sleeve straps and gather the neckline.

The pattern includes a Fair Isle heart border chart designed by Erssie Major. Bliss Bomb can be knit with or without the border and is perfect to showcase striped or variegated yarn. Basic chart reading knowledge is assumed if completing the singlet including the charted hearts.

Measurements given in cm (inches). Finished measurement, taken all round chest at underarm join:
A 18 months - 52cm (20.5”): 280m(310y) approx.

C 6-8 years - 70cm (27.5”): 460m(500y) approx.

Tension:
22 stitches = 10cm on 4.0mm needles in stocking stitch, in the round.

If following suggested age range the finished garment will have more positive ease for the younger age suggestion and be more fitted on the older age. For best result measure the girl’s chest circumference you are knitting for before choosing a size.
