This beautiful baby bonnet is a quick and simple project for any intermediate crocheter to whip up using a relatively small amount of yarn. It is worked firstly in the round, and then back and forth in rows in the alternating bobble stitch pattern. To finish ties are added with pom poms.

There are two sizes, which we have called Baby and Toddler because children’s heads vary enormously in size. Of course you can also alter the size of the bonnet by using a bigger hook, heavier yarn, or both.

Hook: 4mm

Wool: we used Rowan Wool Cotton, but any double knitting wool will do nicely
