Tank top is knit in one piece back and forth from the bottom up, and calls for a circular needle to accommodate all of the stitches. A band is knit to connect the two sides of the top after the main body is complete, and can be made a custom length to perfectly fit your bust. The optional bow is then added to the band. The straps are cable knit in a braid pattern, and the knit picot bind off is added after the main body is finished.

Two different chevron lace patterns are offered within this pattern for you to choose from. I used the “regular” chevron lace for the solid tank and the “wavy” chevron lace for the striped tank which is what I would recommend! :) The lace panel is custom length - you can make it as short or as long as you like to suit your tank length preferences. After the lace panel is finished there is a decrease row to give the lace a bit of ruffle under your bust.
