Corrugated ribbing fits comfortably warn around the ears, and the body of the hat leaves room for big hair. By leaving off the words chart, and putting in another round of pink ribbons instead, the hat could be made smaller by using fewer stitches and repeats. Another sizing option would be to using different size needles. Needles sized 1-4 make acceptable knit fabric for most knitters. No more than an ounce of each color - light pink, dark pink and white, is required.
