Bumblebush socks are a made up of a textured pattern of ribbing with knit and purl stitches that runs along the top of the foot. The textured stitches make this a great pattern for variegated and multi-coloured yarns since it will show off the yarn instead of distracting from the pattern. The pattern repeat is quickly memorizable, making it perfect for nighttime knitting in front of the TV, or while grabbing coffee with friends. With a total of 4 different stitches utilized, this is a great pattern for beginners, and experienced knitters looking for a palate-cleanser project alike.

Bumblebush socks are worked cuff-down in the round with an afterthought heel on double-pointed needles or a 23cm / 9” circular needle.

Instructions are for a 60 (64, 68) stitch sock (25cm / 10” (26.5cm / 10.5”, 28.5cm / 11.25”)) foot circumference) and is knit in this order: Sock Tube (including cuff), Toe, Afterthought Heel.
