Good for using up little bits of yarn you might not have another use for. I prefer to use cotton yarns for stitch definition and so they can be easily washed but any 4ply / sport weight / 5 ply should work.

Spring 2017::
Optional change to the arms:
To make arms with short sleeves, cast on and work the first 4 rows as written but in a single colour (Yarn B).

row 5: Knit
row 6: Change to same yarn that you used for head and ears (Yarn A) and Knit
rows 7-17: starting and ending with Purl rows work 11 rows in stocking stitch (alternate Purl and Knit rows)
rows 18-19: follow as written in the pattern

I then made a flower from this free pattern and sewed the paws together with the tail ends from the flower to make it look like the bunny is holding it.
