I mention worsted weight yarns in the ravelry description, and a size C crochet hook, but really you can make this with any weight of yarn as long as your gauge is dense enough that the finished piece can be stuffed.

The pattern includes instructions for eye and nose placement, as well as how to include a bell if you will be using this as a child’s or cat’s toy.
