Cabled Infinity Scarf
Now available as a separate pattern (without yarn): https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ropes-beach-infi...
(No longer available as part of a kit.)
From website description: This infinity scarf is a seamless loop of gorgeous and an extended version of the same cable pattern used in our Cabled Winter Headband. The generous length allows you to loop it one, two, or three times to match your outfit and the temperature outside.
From designer: Directions are given for the “duplicate stitch” method for grafting the ends of the scarf. I feel this is the best grafting method for this project, especially since the stitch pattern is based on a 2X2 rib. Since grafting creates a continuous loop of knitted fabric (rather than connecting the tops of two pieces of knitting), there will be no visible “jogs” at the edges of the scarf or individual ribs, if the grafting is done properly. After the graft is finished, contrasting waste yarn loops are carefully cut, leaving only the main yarn behind.
Alternatively, a provisional cast on may be used, and the traditional method of grafting OR Three-Needle Bind Off may be used to join scarf ends (directions for these techniques not included in this pattern).
