Calaveras is named after one of my favorite roads in the San Francisco Bay Area. This pretty road winds up through an oak forest and overlooks a lovely earthen damn. During spring, you can see eagles nesting if you are lucky. Calaveras is knit top down and features a center lace panel, which is reminiscent of oak branches, eyelet ribbing and a gusset heel.
