The pattern is a relatively easy beginners- intermediate level knit. It is knit in the round on circular needles. The pattern includes stripes and one row of increases. The yarns used are Aran/Worsted weight wools, yarn weight 4 , and you will need 2 coordinating colours, 100g/3.5 oz of the main colour and 25 g/ 0.8 oz of the second colour. The hat comes in two sizes, and is a loose slouchy fit. It is perfect for all adults and is loved by teenagers. The striped pattern makes this a good hat to knit for college students, and it is always a favourite with teenagers.
