Description-
This adorable and colourful blanket would make a lovely handmade gift for a baby or toddler. It is knitted up in Aran yarn and so is very soft and snuggly for little ones. The blanket is knitted with a log cabin pattern and is worked starting from the centre and working outwards. It is then finished with an I-cord edging.
In 3 different sizes, perfect to use for the car seat, as a crib blanket or with a cot bed.
Basic skills needed- (Beginner/Intermediate)
Knit & Purl Stitches
Picking up stitches along edges
Using double pointed needles for I-cord edging
Gauge-
4’’ (10cm) square = 16 sts and 26 rows
Measurements-
Small - 26’’ (66cm) x 28’’ (71cm)
Medium – 34’’ (86.5cm) x 36’’ (91.5cm)
Large – 42’’ (107cm) x 44’’ (111cm)

4.5mm (US 7) circular needles
4mm (US 6) double pointed needles
