Deceptively simple slip stitch pattern worked in 3 colours. Around 40-50g per colours used, depending on choices made for cuff, heel and toe.

The resulting optical illusion of rising zig zag lines are reminiscent of architectural elements like apparently free floating cantilevered stairs, hence the name.
