Cardigan Rose
Also available at KnitPicks.com
Cardigan Rose is a design which emerged from a yarn that a friend hand-dyed. It’s a top-down Raglan technique with increases & garter stitch rows on the body to constantly change the colour pattern and prevent pooling. However, the texture provided by the garter stitch rows would make this a suitable pattern for a plain DK weight yarn too.
The body is worked flat and the sleeves are finished with circular knitting. I use the ‘magic loop’ technique, but they can also be worked using 2 circulars or on DPNs if preferred.
NB - this pattern was originally offered free in just one size (18-24 mths), it has since been published for sale in multiple sizes after test knitting and editing.
