This dress also fits American girl dolls with no adjustments to the pattern.

This dress is a super cute, top down, button panel with optional crochet lace scallops, with a wide flowing skirt. Knitting with fingering weight yarn and larger needles helps give the knitting fabric a light weight feel.

There is something magical and delicate when you dress your dolls in a dress adorned with buttons and scallops.

I like to use a size 4, 16 inch circular needle and a size 0 crochet hook for the scalloped edges.

This pattern starts off knitting flat and then works in the round for a seamless top to bottom working.

I believe this pattern would be for a advanced beginner.
