This pattern and photo tutorial has been designed to help you create models of the pilgrims and settlers who journeyed on the Mayflower.

The pattern includes instructions for knitting a male passenger and a female passenger. The figures are approximately 8 inches tall for the men and the women are about 7.5 inches when worked on 3mm needles. Using larger needles will enable you to create taller figures.

The figures are worked in DK/8ply . You can mix and match any DK yarn you have left over from other projects. Small amounts of flesh coloured and white yarn are required plus other colours for hair and clothing.

There is no pattern for the children as these were created freehand.
