I originally created this design in my Super Bulky Single Yarn with a US#19 needle for quick holiday knitting. Castle Cowl

Now that the holidays are over, I wanted to make it available in a more familiar yarn weight and needle size, so here is the worsted version of the Castle Cowl. Pair this cowl with the Castle Cap (hat) and Castle Cuffs (wrist warmers) for a complete cold weather ensemble. All knit in worsted weight yarn.

Why “Castle”? ”. Because when I first created the “Castle Cuffs” pattern I thought that the slipped stitches looked like the bricks that stick out of the wall in old European Castles.

This sample is knit in my hand-dyed tonal yarn named “Miss Figgy”.
