In honor of Spring, I present Celeste: an ethereal yet fitted, extremely wearable lightweight shawl in two sizes. Celeste consists of seven panels: a wide back panel and three narrower side panels on each side. The side panels are what create the crescent shape, with a bonus: shoulder shaping for a superior fit.

This highly textured pattern on a reverse stockinette stitch ground features ornate beaded leaves, twisted stitches, and a stellium of beads to ornament the designs. Beads are placed with the add-as-you-go crochet hook method.

Bead requirements: 174 (230) size 8/0 delica seed beads, or the equivalent.
