This project was made while swatching for a vest with a pattern inspired by Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Chainmail motif. I wanted to work the pattern with a different amount of colors and with an altered motif, so I designed this to work as a gauge swatch. It is knit in the round, then steeked, with a buttonband added after steeking. It is an excellent French press cozy, and will keep your coffee nice and warm.
