Yarn required: Approximately 490 yards of Aran weight. Recommended yarns include a popular acrylic for those who prefer the ease of care.

• 7 balls Garnstudio DROPS Nepal (65% wool, 35% alpaca; 82 yds/75 meters; 50g balls)
• 3 balls Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice solids (100% acrylic; 170 yds;156 meters; 100 g balls)

Needles: One 32” (80 cm) circular needle in size US9 (5.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. One circular needle in a length to accommodate 56 stitches, used only for 3-needle bind off.

Gauge: 17 sts & 23 rows = 4”/10cm in Stockinette stitch.
22 sts & 23 rows = 4”/10cm in Cabled Stitch Pattern, lightly stretched.

Tools and Supplies: cable needle, tapestry needle, 3 removable stitch markers, 2 stitch holders, waste yarn and crochet hook for provisional cast on, row counter (optional).
