Chevron Stripes Baby Blanket
This is a great way to use up remnants of yarn. For this blanket, I used some left over Knitpicks Swish Worsted I had from a different project. You can adjust the number of stitches up or down to accommodate your size yarn/ gauge. Just make the pattern part multiples of 18 + 1 so that the blanket ends up as wide as you’d like it.
Final dimensions approx.: 27”w x 32”t after blocking
So that this would have more of a baby blanket look, I decided to use a lot of white. I think the white provided a nice unified field for the other colors. If I’d had more black available, I would have included some in the body, as well. I had a lot of white left, even after completing this project. I could have used white for the border as well as the field—then I would have had enough black to include in the body of the blanket. Oh well, maybe next time!
