Chevron Tutu Dress

Comes in all sizes but on the pattern only goes up to age 12. I have included instructions on how to increase the stitch amounts to make for bigger sizes.

This style of top is worked flat then joined only at the very bottom. It will have a corset lacing back. Which is really pretty and it’s very nice for those in between sized kids. And it can grow with them too. It’s nice and stretchy, the lacing can be tightened or loosened for and easier fit.

I have also included a tulle measurement guide as a tool. If you want it to be a short dress cut the tulle shorter, if you want it long then cut them long. These measurements are not a requirement it’s for those who need an idea of how long to cut them.

You will need:
Worsted weight yarn - in any colors you wish 1 to 20 colors
J Hook (or hook size that gets your gauge correct)
Tulle - again in any colors you choose
Ribbon for ties and lacing. You can make this into a halter dress or straps

If you want you can embellish the dress until your heart is happy. I made fabric rolled flowers with birdcage veil and ribbon. Attach to a clip and put onto the dress. Have fun with it and SHARE pictures. I love to see what everyone creates.
